Women and Youth Empowerment for Employability (WYEE)
Vision
The general objective of WYYE project is to increase access to self/wage employment opportunities for 8,627 semi-skilled and unskilled women and youth (25% adult women and 75% youth with equal gender balance) in both pilot and scale up phases through promotion of market relevant skills training.
Updates
- Finalized training of 1,000 youth and women in 6 skills-based training fields
- Organized capacity building trainings for TVET instructors, management and supporting staffs
- Facilitated employment opportunities for trained youth and women
- Familiarized and distributed manual to all TVET colleges in A.A
- Facilitated job linkages for 2nd round trainees and those not addressed from the 1st round
