Meharebe is a health and wellness education manual. The goal of this approach is to provide young people with self-development skills like self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-esteem, as well as social competencies like negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills, through the use of contextualized manuals

is a pocket-size book that is a part of Meharebe prepared for students to precisely summarize what they have learned in all sessions

Youth-Led Research(YLR)

DEC has a youth pool named Ethiopian Youths Expertise for Development/EYED who were capacitated enough in DEC’s different approaches, tools, and programs.

Ready Steady

is a manual for education for health and wellbeing of youths to in and out-of-school youth between the ages of 18-24

is a Parent Dialogue Manual. This manual is for parents to have a comprehensive knowledge and skill of their children and then to have active participation in their SRH life.

this is a way of thinking about power, norms, and values that advocates a human rights-based approach.

this approach utilizes the Whole School Approach (WSA) in all targeted schools to incorporate key stakeholders

Girls Friendly Schools Tool (GFS)

using a scoring sheet with four dimensions of a safe environment, staffing and management, inclusivity and connectedness, and health and protection will be assessed

Youth Friendly Health Service Tool (YFHS)

this scoring sheet is used to assess a particular health service to improve understanding between stakeholders, which can lead to facilitating the improvement of existing YFHS through multi-stakeholder engagement

Community Score Cards(CSC)

is a two-way and ongoing participatory tool for assessment, planning, monitoring, and evaluation of services.

Yemisrach Manual

this is a manual used to establish new and strengthen existing girl’s clubs in schools. The manual has ten chapters with the content of Vision Setting, Time Management, Talent, Communication, Hygiene, Friendship, Gender, Ethics, Winning Behavior, and Am I On the Right Track are the lessons that empower girls in life and social skills. Girls involved in this club will be empowered and be influenced to bring educational achievement, have better social skills, and be role models for their friends, overall they will be capable of achieving their dreams.
