At the RHRN2 East African regional linking and learning event, the first day commenced with a welcome speech by the National program coordinator, followed by the Executive director of the lead organization welcoming remarks and a keynote speech from the ambassador of the kingdom of Netherlands, H.E Henk Jan Bakker. The primary objective of the day was to strengthen MIYP in the RHRN2 program. With young people at the forefront of this day Participants had in-depth discussions on the Core elements of MYIP, various forms of MIYP, and shared their experiences regarding the challenges and opportunities of ensuring MIYP with fun youth-friendly activities.
