Inclusive Economic Empowerment (IEE) Project

The Inclusive Economic Empowerment (IEE) project is a three-year initiative implemented from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2025, with financial support from Light for the World. The project focuses on economically empowering 180 persons with disabilities (PWD)—equally divided between men and women—across six woredas in the Bahir Dar Zuria Zone of the Amhara National Regional State. The intervention aims to improve the overall wellbeing, income, and access to inclusive services for PWDs through targeted awareness, capacity building, and inclusive development support.

General Objective
To economically empower 180 persons with disabilities (90 male and 90 female).
