Development Expertise Center (DEC), in collaboration with Light for the World, has been implementing the project Inclusive Economic Empowerment for Persons with Disability (IEE) in Bahir Dar Zuriya worda Kebeles of the Amhara National Regional State, since July 1, 2022. Over the last 6 months, we have conducted various Trainings and awareness workshops for our project users and Stakeholders. In collaboration with Bahirdar Poly technic College, short-term skill trainings are being conducted for 40 selected persons with disabilities to help them enter the IGAs.
Today, DEC Bahirdar Area Program was able to provide wheelchair (Trycycles)support to three persons with disabilities the support received from LFW.
